Summer has finally arrived and it’s time to enjoy all that Ocean County has to offer. I feel very fortunate to be able to explore Ocean County while meeting with top professionals in their fields of expertise, distributing the paper, and attending health expos and chamber events. It’s a privilege for our Ocean County Woman publi¬cation to be part of a growing and stimulating county.

Our dedicated and creative staff continues to bring you these beautifully designed pages in each issue. My heartfelt thanks to Tracy Harman Photography for our stunning front covers and spectacular Women in Profile photos. Most importantly, I want to thank our talented professional contributors, who bring you articles in their areas of expertise. We are committed to creating, publishing, and distributing the publication to key locations throughout Ocean County.

I have received numerous phone calls from our readers who have positively benefited from the articles in the publication. Please let the writers know, by phone or email, when their article has provided you with valuable information. It brings us great joy when a business has been able to help the residents in Ocean County through our publication.

I hope the summer brings you happiness and laughter as well. I hope you get to enjoy the 100-square-miles of water playground, where you can parasail, windsurf, kite surf and jet ski. You can also set sail or motor boat from Barnegat and Little Egg Harbor.

✺ Lastly, I would like to introduce you to our most recent “stress-reducer” member of our staff, a 7 week old rescued kitten named Shiraz. Lounging on our key¬board or falling asleep purring on our shoulders as we work through our deadlines, she is dedicated to providing us with unconditional love and laughter.
