Touch is the first sense
to develop in the womb and
the last sense to leave in old
age. The first communication
a baby receives and the first
language of its development
is through the infant’s skin.
Affection certainly feels good,
for both the giver and the
receiver of physical affection,
and it turns out that the effects
are more than skin deep.
With the right preparation,
a trip to the doctor’s office
should not be a stressful event even
though you might be worried about
something.
Many, many
people are
taking prescription
drugs for various
reasons. These medications
are supposed
to help; but
sometimes problems
and questions
do arise.
Many men are
so focused
on protecting
and providing
for their families and
communities; they
forget to protect
their own health.
On December 9,
2009, President
Obama announced
nearly $600 million
in American Recovery
and Reinvestment Act
(ARRA) awards to support
major construction
and renovation
projects at 85 community
health centers
nationwide.
