We are a Volunteer led organization that has been serving the residents of the County for over 91 years with Disaster Response, Military Communication Verification, Blood Services, and Health and Safety Education training classes such as CPR, First Aid and AED. We could not keep our doors open to offer the vital services and programs we offer without our key component, “volunteers.” County Woman provides us with an opportunity to educate the public on the many services and programs we provide and has greatly assisted us with recruiting volunteers.

I was just reminded again today how incredibly valuable our one page ad has been in County Woman. We just had another “walk in” volunteer come in and sign up to help here at our chapter as a result of the current issue of County Woman. After filling out some initial paperwork and getting additional information on the various departments and the services each of our department offers , she has even offered to bring in two of her friends to volunteer!
