As Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates can attest, the health of the feet is often overlooked and many times, neglected.

Setting the Standard for Foot and Ankle Care.

Since 1991, Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates has helped residents of the Garden State take exceptionally good care of their feet. Our experience and procedures help ensure maximum patient comfort, minimal downtime and positive outcomes, restoring patients to a normal quality of life.

The founding physicians of Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates have over 30 years cumulative experience. Working together with a staff of highly skilled, Board Certified, podiatric physicians and surgeons, we’ve set the standard for the best possible care for diseases affecting the foot, ankle and leg.

Bunion deformities - enlargement of the big toe joint; leads to swelling and angulation of the big toe towards the second toe.

Diabetic issues - loss of protective sensation (LOPS) in lower extremities; without proper care, can lead to foot ulcers and amputation.

Congenital deformities and flatfoot condition - includes pain along the inside part of the arch and along the bottom of the heel, and an ankle rolled in and in a downward position.

Fractures - disruption of the consistency of a bone; may cause disruption of the normal architectural alignment of the foot and in some cases, painful arthritis.

Hammertoe - pain along the top of the digit as it rubs on the tight toe box area of the shoe.

Heel pain - inflammation around the tissue that extends from the heel bone to the toes, especially in the morning.

Ingrown toenails - typically affects the big toes; occurs when the border of the nail invades the soft tissue and skin edges at the border of the nail.

Sports-related injuries - knee pain or weakness, stress fractures, ankle pain or chronic ankle sprains and shin splints.

Just as we promise the ultimate in care, we offer the utmost in convenience. Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates is affiliated with the area’s three local hospitals, and treats patients in three convenient offices — in Toms River, Forked River and Whiting — as well in its Wound Care Center of Ocean County and AAA-accredited surgical center. Each has diagnostic imaging, including conventional X-ray technique, vascular testing, diagnostic ultrasound testing and nerve conduction studies.

The First to Call With the First Sign of Discomfort.

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, it’s important to schedule an appointment with a podiatric physician at Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates. After careful examination of the affected area, the condition can be correctly diagnosed and treated. Not experiencing pain? A routine yearly check-up can help keep your feet healthy all year long.
